How to survive the candy-filled weekend?
A recent article on EverydayHealth suggested 8 Sweet Treats to Satisfy your cravings...
- Sugar-free gelatin
- No-sugar-added Fudgsicles
- Sugar-free hard candies
- Sugar-free Popsicles
- Sugarless chewing gum
- Chocolate powder, no added sugar
- Sugar-free, caffeine-free carbonated sodas
- Sugar-free, caffeine-free drink mixes (like Crystal Lite)
Now, something tells me that a piece of sugarless chewing gum is not going to stand a chance against a king size Snickers. Or so I hear? I hate chocolate. No really, but I'm being empathetic!
So, what's my solution? Well, you could have just ONE human-size, not king, Snickers, or KitKats, or whatever strikes your fancy. Now, for the real solution...
Bake/Cook your own Halloween treat to distract you from the candy, and add a little festivity to your Halloween weekend!

Pumpkin Raviolis

I made the raviolis for "Sunday-Dinner" last week, and I would recommend, instead of boiling and eating in a garlic sauce-- Bake them, and eat them as a crunchy, cheesy appetizer, topped with a bit of fresh pesto.
What will you be cookin' up this weekend? Do tell... and Have a fun weekend, all! :)
